LED Hacks (The DIY Part)
Here are two LED hacks
to improve how you use the Nobel-prize winning innovation:
- The USB LED Hack- if you want to light up your room with your phone charger or your laptop, this hack is just for you.
- The USB wire is cut off and the plug-end is cut-open to expose the USB wires. Solder your USB connections with the LED wires.
- When you have connected both wires, remember to try it out in a USB socket.
- If it lights up, cover the USB and LED end with black tape, and your hack's ready.
- Safety Slippers' Hack- you are going to need a three-strip LED, hot glue and again the solderer. Of course, a pair of slippers makes the crux of this innovative idea.
- Expose the wire ends of the three-strip LED and connect that with the switch. Make sure you connect the other end with a large Duracell battery.
- Fix the Duracell battery and LED to the slippers.
- Stick the three-strip LED with the slippers, and flip the switch.
